The gift vouchers are available in the amount of 10 EUR

They can be purchased at the information point of the Citypark shopping centre, Šmartinska 152 g, during the opening hours, as well as in all other three of our shopping centres: Citycenter Celje, Europark Maribor and Interspar Vič at their information points / information offices.

1. General

1.1. A gift voucher is a document issued by the company in the form of paper in return for payment; in accordance with these general conditions, companies that rent premises in the Citypark Ljubljana shopping centre, Šmartinska 152g, Ljubljana, shall be obliged to accept it.
1.2. The gift voucher cannot be used as a means of payment in the following companies:

  • SKB banka
  • Športna Loterija/Loterija Slovenije
  • Primark

1.3. The gift voucher cannot be used as a means of payment for bank, post or telecommunication services.

2. Liability of Company

2.1. A liability of a company deriving from a gift voucher shall arise at the moment when a consumer (buyer of a gift voucher) pays the amount of the value of the gift voucher. The purchase of gift vouchers can be effected in cash or by transfer to the current account of the voucher seller. The voucher seller is company EUROMARKT Center d.o.o., Šmartinska cesta 152g, Ljubljana.
2.2. The receivable deriving from a gift voucher shall be tied to the paper itself and shall pertain to each owner of the gift voucher. The fulfilment of the receivable deriving from a gift voucher may be requested upon submission by the bearer (owner), without any identification.
2.3. The liability of companies deriving from a gift voucher shall cease when a company receives a gift voucher as a means of payment for goods, upon expiry of a gift voucher or if a gift voucher becomes invalid for the reasons provided in point 4.1 of these general conditions.

3. Rights of Owner of Gift Voucher

3.1. The bearer may demand the fulfilment of obligations deriving from a gift voucher during the period of validity of a gift voucher in the shops of companies in Citypark Ljubljana shopping centre, except those listed under point 1.2 of these Rules. The period of validity of a gift voucher is printed on a gift voucher.
3.2. The bearer shall demand the fulfilment of obligations deriving from a gift voucher by presenting the voucher at the shop as a means of payment when purchasing goods. Insofar as the value of the purchase exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the owner of the gift voucher must pay the difference. Insofar as the value of the purchase is lower than the value of the gift voucher, the difference to the full value of the voucher shall not be returned in cash.
3.3. The owner of a gift voucher may transfer a gift voucher to a third party without any limitations. The transfer shall be effected by handing over a gift voucher. Through the transfer of the rights deriving from a gift voucher, the new owner shall acquire all the rights that were held by the previous owner.
3.4. A gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Other provisions

4.1. It is not allowed to write on a gift voucher, erase or cross out any of its features or make any other corrections to a gift voucher. In such cases a gift voucher shall be considered invalid.
4.2. Companies may reject the fulfilment of obligations deriving from a gift voucher if they establish that a gift voucher is forged, defaced or damaged to the extent that the contents cannot be discerned.
4.3. Any dispute which may arise between parties originating from or in any way related to gift vouchers shall be resolved amicably. Otherwise, disputes shall be settled by the competent court in Ljubljana.

5. Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedure

A link to on-line consumer dispute settlement is provided for Slovenian (international) consumers.

Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, Euromarkt center d.o.o. shall not acknowledge any provider of out-of-court dispute resolution as competent for the resolution of a consumer dispute.
